The Datisan team is experiencing accelerated growth and we’re looking to add a new Technical Marketing Analyst / Data Analyst in a full time role in either Sydney or Brisbane.

The Technical Marketing Analyst is a critical function within the Datisan team. You will work closely with our clients and your Datisan colleagues in understanding business needs and requirements and translating these into functional technical solutions across Google Analytics 360 implementations with Datisan clients.

You will work closely with our clients and your Datisan colleagues in understanding business needs and requirements and translating these into functional technical solutions across Google Analytics 360 implementations with Datisan clients.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

To thrive in this role, it is expected that you have the following direct experience and technical knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of Google Marketing Platform, especially Google Analytics (360 and standard), Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Google Data Studio
  • Technical platform integrations with Google Marketing Platform products
  • Conversion and optimisation
  • Attribution models and frameworks
  • Expertise in web analytics including systems set up and maintenance
  • Tagging solutions (eg Google Tag Manager) and experience troubleshooting these and analytics data
  • Javascript
  • Various developer tools to facilitate another troubleshooting

 

It would also be great if your capabilities included knowledge of:

  • Website optimisation platforms and data visualisation
  • Enterprise marketing data architecture AdTech, (DSPs, CDPs, DMPs, targeting etc)
  • Attribution and statistical models, their application and pros/cons

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICAL MARKETING ANALYST

We’re looking for a highly motivated and delivery focused professional who has the demonstrated ability to:

  • Interact and communicate with stakeholders and partners
  • Successfully manage multiple streams of work in a fast paced environment
  • Focus on value-driven iterative solutions with an agile mindset

 

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the Technical Marketing Analyst include:

  • Understanding and translating complex business requirements into a functional technical architecture that can be implemented and activated by clients
  • Managing delivery of solutions by working collaboratively with Google Marketing Platform teams, Datisan teams, and other delivery partners
  • Developing and maintaining product knowledge about core competencies of Google technologies, and other industry technology solutions
  • Documenting the current state of the client’s technology and outline systems enhancements needed
  • Serving as a technical leader for Datisan’s clients, with regards to programmatic advertising, analytics, measurement, attribution and marketing activation strategies
