The Datisan team is experiencing accelerated growth and we’re looking to add a new AdTech Account Manager (Google Marketing Platform) in a full-time role to the Datisan team in Brisbane or Sydney.

This is a key role will work closely with our Head of AdTech, COO and Customer Success Manager.

This role will supporting new and existing Google Marketing Platform (GMP) clients in the following areas:

  • Liaise with our Customer Success Manager and Head of AdTech in delivering briefs on GMP set up, optimisation, onboarding & documentation
  • Assist the Global Delivery Team in creating, building & set up of GMP activities as per brief documentation and client expectations following goals and objectives in regards to their digital marketing.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE

As an AdTech Account Manager at Datisan, it is expected that you will:

  • Have a strong knowledge of marketing principles;
  • Follow architectural guidelines & best practices for GMP configurations (Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager etc.);
  • Provide solutions & recommendations on better set up and integration of Search Ads 360 (bidding strategy, campaign automation using GMC & data feed/templates) or assist with better measurement & attribution setup on Campaign Manager (Floodlights, Custom Variables, Attribution, Path to Purchase Reporting etc.); and
  • Assist in briefing, auditing & creating campaign/agency reporting needs via Data Studio.

 

To hit the ground running, your experience should ideally include having worked agency side as well as:

  • 2+ years in digital Account Management supporting search, social and display strategies, as well as activation (while Datisan doesn’t run media for all our GMP clients, we do support the set up and optimisation of the platform as well as training);
  • Being well-versed in GMP: Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360 and Campaign Manager. It would be nice if you were certified in these, as well as Google Analytics IQ but this can also be attained during the first few months; and an
  • Understanding of digital marketing activation across platforms including: paid search, display & video, Facebook, as well as subsequent measurement & reporting.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADTECH ACCOUNT MANAGER

This role is varied and no two days will be exactly the same. Saying that, there are some things that you form part of your daily rhythm, including:

  • Addressing client questions or concerns in a thoughtful & timely manner
  • Working closely with other team members to provide the best outcomes for our clients
  • Simultaneously manage a number of campaigns and activities across a large portfolio of clients
  • Tracking, measuring, and analysing key account metrics such as customer conversion rates, impression share, average order value, and cost-per-click etc.
  • Working with new clients to capture all success metrics, goals and objectives of their marketing activity and documenting those metrics.
  • Working closely with GMP Specialist and the Head of AdTech on setup, onboarding, audit, documentation and optimisation of GMP accounts
  • Working closely with the GMP Specialist on maximising the efficiency of the platforms and providing agreed upon reports demonstrating efficiency and uplift.
  • Supporting the Head of AdTech and Datisan leadership team on sales collateral for new GMP agency pitches.
